Description:
This type of canopic jar features the jackal headed son of Horus, Duamutef, and was used to hold the removed stomach of mummified deceased. From approx. 1069 BC - 664 BC. Replica made using a glass jar, moulded and coated in clay, and painted. This replica is based loosely on the Canopic Jar of Padiouf.
